Authorities confirmed that a husband and wife were found deceased in their South Fulton home on March 14 in what investigators have described as a murder‑suicide. The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victims as 49‑year‑old Isadora “Belle” Lanier and her husband, 51‑year‑old Corey Lanier.

Police responded shortly before noon after receiving a call reporting threats of self‑harm and potential danger to another person inside the residence. Despite rapid deployment and the involvement of SWAT officers, both individuals were discovered dead when authorities entered the home. Officials later stated that the husband had contacted family members around midday, telling them he had taken his wife’s life before ending his own.
