Shelly R. Ogden Fatal Collision Mobile County Death, Obituary: Forever In Our Hearts

The Mobile County community is mourning the tragic loss of Shelly R. Ogden, 54, of Fort Walton Beach, who was killed in a head-on collision on Monday afternoon, March 16, 2026.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. near the 3-mile marker on Alabama 158, about five miles west of Semmes. Shelly was a passenger in a 2022 Kia Sportage when the vehicle collided head-on with a 2016 Toyota Sienna.

Authorities reported that the driver of the Kia, as well as the driver and a passenger in the Toyota, sustained injuries and were transported to area hospitals for medical treatment. Shelly R. Ogden was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances leading to the crash remain under investigation as authorities work to determine contributing factors.
